Design and Art Direction
Ever since I started playing guitar at age 15, I have been fascinated by the aesthetics of instruments and all the tools that have been created to produce and manipulate sounds.

After buying and trying countless pedals, I found out that you can also buy them as kits so that you can solder them together yourself. And suddenly the perfect side project idea presented itself, which also gave me the opportunity to learn new skills. All the pedals were designed by me, printed by my father-in-law and soldered and assembled by me.

At the beginning, many things were very intimidating. But over time, I learned to enjoy every part of the process. Each new pedal offers the chance to explore a new design, assembling the parts is like travelling back in time to when I was still building Lego worlds and the soldering itself is very meditative and relaxing. Also deciding for each pedal which knobs fit the look of the design is definitely a lot of fun and now I can call myself the owner of a great collection of random knobs.
