The digital relaunch of Stern offered the opportunity to utilise the visual narrative possibilities for which Stern has always been known. Over several months, I supported the Edenspiekermann team in exploring the digital experience of the new Stern by testing different formats, visual styles and concepts.
We started with the website and then worked out the unique selling points of the app, which relied much more on media library content, for which I also explored podcast cover concepts. Unfortunately, the designs shown here did not materialise in the further course of the project, as a different direction was pursued.
