In the new digital NZZ Magazine, carefully researched and high-quality produced stories are published daily, enriched with exclusively digital elements such as columns, cooking recipes and illustrations. In addition, readers will find a wide selection of magazine content from the NZZ in the magazine.

The Website

Based on the NZZ Design System, we developed a design language for the new magazine that allows for new types of visual storytelling while still clearly fitting into the world of NZZ.
Since the NZZ products tend to be rather restrained in terms of color, we wanted to bring this design element to the forefront for the magazine content. Each story is given its own world of color, allowing readers to become even more immersed in the content. Based on the cover image, a color scheme is created that is sometimes playful and colorful and other times mysterious and dark, but always fitting to the story.
